This year’s run of summer sports camps at JCHS came to a close last week at the Cheer Factory as the Greyhounds cheerleading programs hosted their annual Kiddy Camp.

Epps bound for CGTC

The basketball career of Kimmya Epps, a key reason for the Lady Greyhounds postseason success this past season, will continue. It was announced late last week by Epps, who returned last year for JCHS after being previously injured, had been signed by CGTC.

YOUTH SIGN-UPS

Football, Cheerleading Registrations are still being accepted for youth football and cheerleading for this fall’s season in Jones County. Registration is $130 per person and is open through Aug. 1. There will be a mandatory uniform fitting, and a birth certificate should be brought when signing up.

Watson Plumbing, a local business on Gray Highway, is a small family-owned plumbing business that offers a relaxed and friendly experience. Johnny Watson, the owner of Watson Plumbing, said they are a small local business open to help people with their plumbing issues.
