Chamber presents awards at annual banquet

The Jones County/Gray Chamber of Commerce held its annual awards banquet for 2022 that included an evening of Vegas flavored fun. The event was held Feb. 4 at Butler Hall with over 170 members and guests in attendance.

Prairie Chic Boutique opens with western theme

Prairie Chic Boutique, a women’s western themed shop, recently opened in Jones County inside Trend Setters in Gray, offering stylish and fashionable clothing with a taste of the wild West. The boutique is located at 147 James Street, and is open Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Track & Field sign ups ongoing, parent meeting on Jan. 28 Sign ups are underway for Jones County youth track and field for ages 7-14. The registration cost is $100 per child and $90 per additional child. The parent meeting is Jan. 28 at the Knox Civic Center, which is mandatory.
