State Senate bill targets cyberbullying

State Sen. Jason Anavitarte introduced legislation this week aimed at protecting teenagers from cyberbullying and other negative effects of social media. Anavitarte, R-Dallas, and Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, who presides over the Senate, first announced they planned to target social media last summer.

Georgia’s police K-9s receive top-of-the-line bulletproof vest

The Georgia Police K9 Foundation is proud to announce that K9 Nesa with the Jones County Sheriff’s Office is the latest canine to receive an Elite K9 Stealth Fighter K9 Vest, a $1,000 value. The foundation has vested 186 Georgia Law Enforcement K9s.
