The driver of a vehicle involved in a Feb. 20 fatal accident turned himself into the Jones County Law Enforcement Center last week to face the charge of homicide by vehicle.The estimated time of the accident was 7:21 p.m., according to the report by Jones County Sheriff’s Office Cpl.

Woman to undergo treatment as part of arson plea

Treatment is a large part of the sentence of a Jones County woman who pled guilty to the charge of arson.Amanda Danielle Drye was in Jones County Superior Court Feb. 19 to enter a negotiated guilty plea. She was sentenced to 20 years for the offense of arson in the first degree.
