Board of Education holds final meeting of 2023

Board of Education members held their December meeting in the Community Room of Jones County High School to avoid being in the middle of the Gray Christmas Parade traffic. The Dec. 12 meeting was called to order by Board Chairman Ginger Bailey.

Hamrick named Jones County Conservationist of the Year

The Piedmont Soil and Water Conservation District recently held its 62nd Annual Conservationist of the Year Banquet at Rock Eagle. Each year, over 150 farmers and partners in conservation gather to recognize and celebrate significant local efforts in the field.
