Trial ends in guilty verdict, 2-year sentence

Last week’s trial of a Gray man was wrapped up in a day and resulted in a sentence that includes two years in prison.Michael Latoralan Hutchings, 60, was in Jones County Superior Court Sept. 23 facing charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana less than an ounce and open container.

Treevana Powered by Sanctuary opened its doors Sept. 9 at 3015 Heritage Place NE, located beside the former roller-skating rink in Baldwin County.Treevana is a state-licensed medical cannabis facility that aims to educate on and make low-THC products more accessible for patients across Georgia.
