Victim’s visit to ICU leads to additional charge

A suspect in an aggravated battery case is currently held without bond in the Jones County jail following an additional charge filed due to the condition of the victim in the case.Michael Adams Youngblood, 40, was arrested May 26 and charged with simple battery and aggravated battery.

Charles Gordon Kizziah is our local Veteran of the week. Charles served in the U.S. Air Force. He served at Amarillo AFB in Texas and Warner Robins Air Force Base here in GA. He enlisted in Sept. of 1961 and Honorably discharged in Sept. 1965. Charles was an aircraft mechanic.
