Pennamon celebrated for public service

The Gray Police Department celebrated with a retiring officer who has given decades of service to law enforcement.The March 31 event for Lt. Thaxton Pennamon was held at Butler Hall and catered by Deuce Black.

Pope speaks on ways to engage young people

Jones County’s Suicide Prevention Coalition met in a new location last week with an added feature and the inclusion of law enforcement officers.
Many thanks to the Jones County High School FFA Club for their help at Round Oak Ancestors’ Memory Park. They helped with many chores; broadcasting 10-10-10, trimming, raking, decorating the Easter tree and other chores.
