Traffic stop leads to three arrests for drugs

Three Jones County men are facing multiple drug charges as the result of a routine traffic stop with a very good chance of more charges to follow.Davian Makar Daniel, 27, Denarian Jovon White, 38, and Tyler Ahmaud Williams, 26, were arrested April 24.

Jones County Board of Education members had a quick called meeting last week to take care of some unfinished business.Board Chairman Ginger Bailey called the May 27 meeting to order. The meeting’s agenda contained only three items and did not include a closed session.
