Daniel Claude Wilson, Jr. passed away on Feb. 11, 2026. There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony held soon, with the date to be announced later.
Daniel Wilson was a charismatic man; known for the way he could capture a room. He would do anything to help others, often going out of his way to ensure the safety of his family, or his guys at work. He valued hard work and instilled that in those that knew
Feb. 11, 2026 him. He was employed with Vulcan Materials for 28 dedicated years and had climbed the ranks to District Operations Manager.
He leaves behind his childhood sweetheart and wife of 27 years, Lena; their two children, Jordan and Emily; his parents, Dan and Gloria; his brother and sisterin- law, Bill and Rebecca Wilson; and his niece and nephew, Ashley Mcleod and Austin Wilson. He had recently welcomed Chase Heaton into the family, as well, as his future son-in-law.
Daniel was awaited in Heaven by his maternal grandmother, LouEllen Davis, and his paternal grandmother, Grace Goss.
