The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Eze 18:20).
Your sin offends God.
Your unholy sin offends a holy God. Your unrighteous sin offends God’s righteous laws. As a sinner, you offend God.
Because God is holy, He will judge sin. He won’t just ignore it or pretend it didn’t happen. He will judge it because He is holy.
The wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23). God judges sin with death.
Sinners earn a paycheck for their sins--a paycheck of death. And death comes to all, proof that everyone is a sinner. But this death goes deeper than just the physical. There is also a spiritual death. The Bible calls it Hell. This is where all sinners will be dumped and discarded for all time. Hell is the trash heap of eternity.
While we offend God with our sin, God still loves us and sent His Son Jesus to receive the wages of sin for us. Jesus died both physically and spiritually on the cross, depositing our sin checks to His account.
Those who repent and are saved through faith in Jesus go from sinner to saint. Oh we will still die physically, but we will never die spiritually, and one day even our buried bodies will rise to eternal life--just like Jesus. Not so for the sinner.
Stop offending your Creator with your sin.
The blood of Jesus will cleanse you of all your sin. Come to Him and be saved and receive the gift of eternal life.
