Lake Sinclair: Eleanor Metcalf Galyean died on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 16, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Lynn Haven Rehabilitation Center, Gray, Georgia. Graveside services were Saturday Nov. 19, at 11:00 a.m.
Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Greene Settlement Road, Gray, Georgia with Rev. Greg Thompson officiating.
Eleanor was born on Aug. 18, 1930, to the late William Bill Aycock and Ester Gerdie Hester in Arabi, Georgia. She loved her family and that was what she was about. If you left her house hungry it was your fault. She owned her own beauty shop for forty years.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Doris Hawkins and Sue Aycock.
Survived by her loving husband of seventy-three years, Clinton Bennett (CB) Galyean Sr.; sons, Benny (Sharon), Arnold (Kathy), Dennis (Laura), Brad (Coralie) Galyean; grandchildren, Brian Galyean, Eric (Stephanie) Galyean, Amanda (Joel) Hubbard, Robert Galyean, Patricia (Nick) Driggers and Peter Galyean; and seven great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted by the family.
