Bobby Jean Posey, 83, of Gray, GA, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2022.
There will be no formal service and his ashes will be scattered according to his wishes. Condolences may be sent to 2303 Gray Hwy 49, Gray, GA 31032.
Bobby was a man’s man. He was rugged, spirited, and always pushing himself and others to get things accomplished. Yet, a small child, a helpless little animal, or a person in need would humble him. He loved old westerns, politics, anything challenging, and he loved a good drink at the end of the day.
Bobby truly lived his life the way he wanted.
He could laugh at himself or keep others laughing at his tales of growing up or talking about some of the situations he got himself into. He enjoyed waking up early every day and challenging life to the fullest. All the way up to the end, he always considered his wife, Alma, his greatest, most enduring challenge.
Bobby often said he was not afraid of dying but afraid of not living his life to the fullest; and he did just that. He touched the lives of many and will never be forgotten.
