Local author holds book signing

  • A book signing for Dr. Ruth Carter Hayes (seated) was hosted by the Jones County Library June 5. Hayes was born in New Jersey and moved to Jones County in the late 1990s. Her autobiography is titled, “If I Can, You Can” and is based on the story of her life. Hayes recently celebrated her 94th birthday. CONTRIBUTED
