Jolaine Tidwell Jones, 83, of Lizella went to meet her personal Lord and Savior October 28, 2023.
A private service with the immediate family was held with Reverend Steve Johnson officiating.
Jolaine was the daughter of the late Joe and Shirley Tidwell and wife of the late Norman Jones. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Jennifer Jones, Melissa Eatherton and grandson, Seth A. Jones.
She is survived by her son, Ed Jones (Laurie), son-in-law, Rob Eatherton (Danette); grandchildren, Savannah Asbell (Cam), Sidney Shutter (Josh), Brayden Eatherton, Caleb Eatherton, Ivey Eatherton and four great-grandchildren.
Jolaine graduated from Middle Georgia College.
She was a homemaker for 20 years while raising her children before retiring from Georgia Cattleman’s Association. She enjoyed culinary classes, traveling, and entertaining friends.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Smiles for Seth, Bradley Baptist Church, 821 Monticello Hwy., Gray, GA 31032. Simply Cremation of Middle Georgia has charge of the arrangements.
