Frank “Buddy” Millard Hawkins, Jr., 63, of Haddock, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. The family greeted friends for visitation to celebrate the life of Buddy on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Hart’s Mortuary, in the Jones County Chapel. A private burial was held at Cedar Ridge Cemetery with Will Parker officiating.
Buddy was born in Macon, Georgia, on March 14, 1961, to the late Franklin Millard Hawkins, Sr. and Fay Wheeler Hawkins. He proudly graduated from Jonesco Academy in 1979.
Buddy loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He was also known for being a huge Georgia Bulldog Fan. Buddy loved his family, and he will be missed dearly.
Buddy is survived by his daughter, Heather Furness (Jason); his stepchildren, Kaylee Jacobs and Danny Mullis; his grandchildren, Normandy and Jackson Furness; sister, Melanie Hawkins; niece, Amy Glover Hefner (Will); and nephew, Lee Glover (Christie). He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Karen Hawkins.
