Jones County: Carol Gordon Harrison died on Friday afternoon, Nov.
11, 2022, surrounded by her loving children at Piedmont Hospital Macon, Georgia.
Visitation was on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Plentitude Baptist Church, Plentitude Church Road, Gray. Funeral services followed at 12:00 noon with the Rev. Tommy Freeman officiating.
Burial followed at the Gordon Family Cemetery, Highway 18 West.
Carol was born on April 10, 1943, to the late Sid and Bernice Gordon. She was a faithful member of the Plentitude Baptist Church. She loved the beach and went every year with her family.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years Carl Wesley Harrison and brother, Sid Gordon and sister, Emma Jackson.
Mrs. Harrison is survived by her children, Craig and Ginger Harrison and Benjie and Carla Clifford; grandchildren, Tyler Clifford (Leslie), Austin Harrison, Ethan Harrison, and Caroline Harrison; great-grandchildren, Micah Clifford and Carleigh Clifford; brother, Russell Gordon.
