Mrs. Deborah Ann Garey Seabolt, 75, passed away on Nov. 18, 2025. “Debbie” was a kind and generous lady affectionately known by many friends and family members as “Mimi.”
Mrs. Seabolt was a native of Dade City, FL and had lived most of her life in Jones County. She was the daughter of the late Robert Edsel Garey and the late Ann Dennison Garey. She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart who became her husband, Michael Seabolt; brothers, Mike Garey, Steve Garey, Randy Garey, Jimmy Hamlin, and Charles Hamlin. She had been a member of Elam Baptist Church.
Debbie enjoyed serving customers and working alongside her colleagues at Macon Blueprint. She was the number one fan and pit crew member for her husband who raced dune buggies and Late Model cars. She and her husband were also NASCAR fans who enjoyed races like the Daytona 500 in person at times, but certainly didn’t miss watching them on television. Debbie loved children and took great joy in the birth of five great-grandchildren in the last four years.
Mrs. Seabolt is survived by her daughters, Tammy Seabolt Brittain (Waverly) of Gray, Tonia Seabolt Boyd (Marc) of Macon; brother, Chris Garey (Linda) of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, James Brittain (Ashley), Joseph Brittain (Nicole), Caroline Brittain, Spencer Boyd (Mallory), and Dixie Boyd (Russell); great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Chelsea, Drake, Grigsby, and Blaise. She will also be missed by her beloved sister in love, Vicki, as well as the many other nieces and nephews and family members she loved and treasured throughout the years. A celebration of her life is planned for Dec. 14, 2025, at 457 Hwy. 22 E in Gray. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on this date.
