Jarrell Jackson “Jack” Colter, Jr., 62, of Gray passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023.
Mr. Colter was born May 9, 1961, to the late Jarrell Jackson Colter, Sr. and the late Ann Chambless Colter. A true “Jack of all trades,” Mr.
Colter worked in many industries, including timber procurement, logging, real estate and land improvement, as well as a project manager for Gregory Electric Company. He was instrumental in creating and coaching the Jones County 4-H Shotgun Team and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gray.
Mr. Colter is survived by his fiancée, Dr. Linda Sue Arnold; sons, Jarrell Jackson “Tripp” Colter, III (Allison) of Richmond Hill, Tyler Ray Colter of Gray, Cody Thomas Colter of Gray; brother, Andy Colter (Betty) of Vienna, sister, Cathy Cunard (Chris) of Macon. Nieces and nephews include Casey Colter, Brandi Medina, Alex Cunard, and Rachel Cunard. Visitation was held Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Dublin, GA. Service and procession to burial followed.
