Marvin H. Moore, 73, of Macon, GA, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. A memorial service was held Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel with the Reverend Valeria Watkins officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville MD 20852 or American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington VA 22215.
Son of the late William Chadwell and Alice Jewell Ingram Moore, Mr. Moore was a 1967 graduate of Willingham High School and received an associate degree from Dental Technical Career Academy. He was the owner/operator of Moore/ Macon Dental Company for 44 years.
Mr. Moore loved his family first and foremost.
He loved his work and enjoyed playing golf.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Moore of Macon; daughters, Stacey Moore Wilkerson (Charles) of Macon and Virginia B.
Wilcox (Howard III) of Forsyth, Georgia; grandchildren, Haley
Nicole Weeks (Ethan), Andrew “Drew” Allen Dobson (Mary Logan Hollingsworth), Dawson Kirk Wilkerson, Georgia Marie Wilcox, Teresa Reagan Wilcox, and Charlotte Lynn Wilcox; great-grandchild, Kason James Weeks; and 6 nieces and nephews.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his son, Chadwell “Chad” Marvin Moore, brother, Charles David Moore, and sister, Alice Moore Lancaster.
