Milton Wilbur Watts, 87, of Sinclair Marina Road, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at a local nursing home. The family greeted friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at Gray Memorial Chapel in Gray.
Mr. Watts was born February 2, 1935, in Gray, Georgia. He was the son of the late Ida Mae Keys Watts and Milton Augustus Watts. Mr.
Watts honorably served his country with the Army National Guard and was the owner of Watts Construction. He loved to ride his motorcycle, music, and animals. He was a member of the Shriner’s and was a Dune Buggy Driver.
Mr. Watts is preceded in death by his parents: Ida Mae Keys Watts and Milton Augustus Watts; sons: Ray Watts, Alan Watts, and Wendell Watts. Mr. Watts is survived by his siblings: Calvin Watts (Gail), Janelle Mansfield (Pete); grandsons: Seth Watts (Jessica), Jesse Watts, Waylon Watts; granddaughters: Tori

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Ps 118:24).
There are those who think Halloween is the devil’s birthday. That it’s his special day. That he is crowned king of Halloween for another year. That he is lord of the day and of Hell.
Wrong. Satan has no day of his own. He has no birthday because he was created, not born. He is no king of anything. And he is not lord of Hell. He has no rule over it at all.
He’s never even been to Hell.
Halloween is a day Jesus has made. He is King of Halloween. Jesus created October 31. It’s a day He has made so lets rejoice and be glad in it.
Jesus is King of kings.
Jesus is Lord of Hell.
He created Hell and He rules over it. Jesus is Lord of lords.
And when Jesus comes around the devil, all Satan can do is tremble and bow the knee to the real King of Halloween.
The cross and the empty tomb have forever dethroned Satan of any kingship he believed he had.
So don’t freak out as a Christian when Halloween comes. Yes stay clear of the darkness it tries to foster.
But know it is a day that Jesus has made. Rejoice.
Be glad in it. Celebrate the fall season with the true King of Halloween-Jesus Christ, King of kings.
