Rose Marie Brazil, born in Houston to Samuel Oscar Wells and Yvonne Reeves, passed away peacefully at her home on Feb. 19, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Rose was a kindhearted, caring, and empathetic woman whose warmth and friendliness touched everyone she met. She had a special love for reading and never missed an episode of General Hospital. She also enjoyed keeping up with the latest news and sharing a little friendly gossip with those she loved. Rose had a wonderful sense of humor and could light up a room with her funny stories, often leaving her family laughing and smiling.
Family was the center of Rose’s world. She loved her children, grandchildren, and friends deeply, and she taught them the importance of patience, dedication, and unconditional love. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grand-babies and watching her family grow.
Rose is survived by her beloved son, Morgan Ray Brazil III and his wife, Terri Jo Brazil; her grandchildren; Diana Brazil and Susan Blalock; her great-grandsons, Timothy Stone Jr. and Chase Taylor; her great-granddaughter, Rebecca Taylor; her brother, Jon Robert Wells; and her mother, Yvonne Johnson.
Rose’s legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
