Sally Ann Epps Medley, age 72, of Dry Branch, GA, passed away peacefully. Born on November 17, 1953, in Macon, GA, Sally was the beloved daughter of the late Hubert and Vivian Epps.
Sally was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was centered around the people she loved most.
She shared a special bond with her daughter, Erin Medley Waters (Jacob Waters) of Marietta, and found immense joy in her role as “Grandma” to her cherished grandchildren, Hattie and Thomas Waters. Her family was her pride and purpose, and she never missed an opportunity to show up for them with love, laughter, and support.
A graduate of Gordon Ivey High School, Class of 1971, Sally continued her education at Crandall Junior College. She built a strong work ethic early in life and carried it throughout her career.
Sally retired from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts after years of dedicated service. She was also a valued employee at Steel Services, Precision Services, and Ingleside Electric. Known for her reliability and commitment, Sally took great pride in her work and the relationships she formed along the way.
In her free time, Sally enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved chatting with friends, keeping up with her favorite show Survivor, and spending time shopping. A true Georgia sports fan, she faithfully cheered on the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. Her warm personality, sense of humor, and friendly spirit made her a joy to be around, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation was held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Gray Memorial Chapel, with brief words of remembrance shared at 3:00 p.m.
Sally’s legacy of love, dedication, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
