The Greyhounds got rushing touchdowns on Friday from Kaden Canty and Travis Miller in regulation before a Cason Taylor pass to Drew Williams in the first overtime forced the second extra period.

JCHS hosts region-leading Locust Grove on Friday in a game that will likely have Jones County's postseason fate on the line. The Greyhounds are 5-3 in the region, tied for fourth place with Hampton, whom they have a head-to-head tiebreaker against.

A Jones County loss to Locust Grove next week, coupled with a Hampton loss to ELCA, would force a three-way tie for fourth place between Jones County, Hampton, and Eagles Landing.
