Amid oppressive summer heat, the Marching Greyhounds’ accelerated preparation for the upcoming football and competition continues to roll on.
Band camp wrapped up for the Marching Greyhounds on Tuesday, concluding a span of days in which this year’s group battled the elements as this year’s on-field show continues to take shape.
JCHS director of bands Sean Cleland says that signs of a strong sense of culture and dedication are evident.
“The culture of the band has improved a lot. The age has gone down, but that’s the nature of the beast, sometimes,” Cleland said. “We’re pleased with how they’ve maintained the standard that’s been set.”
