JONES COUNTY RECREATION
With brilliant sunshine casting its light all over the Morris Bank Recreation Complex, baseball and softball seasons kicked off for Jones County Little League at the Highway 18 fields.
A kaleidoscope of players christened the season with Saturday morning’s opening ceremonies, as a total of 56 teams comprised of more than 600 ballplayers were introduced following a welcome, opening prayer, address by JCLL President Jake Andrews, and a moment of silence for Terrance Gore prior to the ceremonial first pitches.
