Free pickleball basics class set Feb. 10

Jones County Pickleball will host a free Pickleball Basics class on Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Morris Bank Recreation Complex. The event is open to everyone wishing to learn the basics of pickleball. Jones County Pickleball leagues begin March 4 and run through May 9.

Seniors crowned in big win over Veterans

A few days removed from a top-five finish at the state team duals, Thursday night’s dual match for the Greyhounds against Veterans was icing on the cake. The night produced a sweet result for Jones County.

Hounds seek momentum going toward region tourney

Gym Hounds set for Saturday’s season opener

Jones County’s gymnastics team is unique in that it practices outside of Jones County. That said, they’ll begin the season competing in a familiar setting.
