Lady Hounds begin state tourney in top 10

The Lady Greyhounds found themselves in the top 10 following the first day of the GHSA Girls Class AAAAA state tournament earlier this week. This year’s event, which concluded on Tuesday, was held at Fields Ferry Country Club in Calhoun on the par-74 course.

COLUMBUS - Before last week’s GHSA Class AAAAA state track meet began in Columbus, common knowledge was that Jones County’s Zion Ragins would once again be among the fastest runners to hit the track.

Youth Football and Cheerleading sign-ups continue through Aug. 1
