Gym Hounds set season high

All three teams sweep Greyhound Invitational The Greyhound Invitational lived up to its name on Saturday, with the varsity Gym Hounds setting a season high score of 95.8 and all three teams, the varsity, JV and middle school squads winning to give the Gym Hounds a clean sweep of the competition.

Injuries continue to mount for Lady Hounds

The Lady Greyhounds season of youth and mounting injuries took another turn last week in a loss to Union Grove.

Hounds show ‘competitive fight’ in loss to region foe

With a new face on goal due to the injury of Justin Flippen, the Greyhounds got the fast start they needed last Tuesday against Union Grove, netting an early 1-0 lead within the opening minutes on a goal by Greyson Robbins.

Anderson signs with Truett McConnell

In his high school wrestling career, Chi Anderson won nearly 150 matches and placed within the top four of his classification twice. That was more than enough to attract the attention of coaches on the next level, as the senior signed a national letter of intent with Truett McConnell on Friday.

Lady Hounds battling injuries, youth

Youth was a hurdle that the Lady Greyhounds knew that they’d be facing coming into the season, one that began with an 8-0 setback to Locust Grove in last week’s region opener. More hurdles have been thrown the way of Jones County recently by way of injuries.
