Greyhounds eager to carry late-season burst into postseason

The Greyhounds closed out region play last Wednesday with an offensive bashing of ELCA, winning 11-1 and 15-0 in a doubleheader sweep of the Chargers.Now, a 17-9 record in hand, the job this week takes on greater weight — carrying that momentum to the state playoffs.

Hounds fight to finish, fall to Royals in PKs

Before Thursday’s night’s season finale began for the Greyhounds on the soccer field, the agenda was clear.That next season begins now for a team that only loses one senior.“What we told them at the beginning of the game was that we start next season (now),” Greyhounds head coach Clark Sweatt said.

Lady Hounds finish second in region, boys rally to take third

The season continued at the end of last week for the Greyhounds and Lady Greyhounds on the tennis court.The Greyhounds rallied back to finish third in last week’s region tournament with the Lady Hounds finishing runner-up to Union Grove.The reward for both? Berths in the state tournament.
