With all precincts reporting as of Wednesday morning, Tuesday night's primary was favorable to incumbents. In the open District 2 seat on the Board of Education, Brady Skinner won over Rice Adams. Current board member Alfred Pitts chose to retire from the position.

Leland Olinger knows he isn’t your typical candidate for a state legislative seat, and a look at a photo of him tends to support that conclusion. However, the Senate hopeful says his message goes beyond his physical appearance.“The way I look gets people’s attention,” Olinger said recently.

Forum brings candidates together to face questions

My thoughts have centered on the fact that a county commissioner typically possesses a combination of skills, qualities, and characteristics that enable them to effectively serve their district and fulfill their responsibilities. Transparency is a term that is frequently used, but seldom seen.
