The middle school football season is off and rolling in Jones County following last week’s opening segment of games. Clifton Ridge welcomed its bordering neighbors from Putnam County on Wednesday with Gray Station taking a 24-6 road win at Pike County.

Registration Open For Youth Soccer

Registration has begun for Jones County Youth Soccer with a deadline of Aug. 25. The cost is $100 for 4–5-yearolds and $110 for ages 6-16.The first practice for 4–5-year-olds as well as tryouts for remaining age groups will be on Sept. 10. 4-5-year-old practice will be at 6 p.m.
