Clarification

The guilty plea entered by Henry Hunt in Jones County Superior Court Oct. 26 that was in last week’s edition, was an Alford plea, also known as a ‘best interest plea.’ In an Alford plea, the defendant maintains their innocence but admits a jury would most likely find them guilty.
