Graves takes reigns at December BOE meeting

The December meeting of the Jones County Board of Education was brief but significant in welcoming the new school superintendent.Board Chairman Ginger Bailey called the Dec. 9 meeting to order and spoke about her concern with legislation being considered by the General Assembly.

Gray Fire Dept. presents annual awards

The Gray Fire Department kicked off the holiday season earlier this month with its annual awards banquet, recognizing the dedication and hard work of its volunteer firefighters and support staff.
