30th Annual Central Georgia Jubilee

Calvary Baptist Church, 4364 Upper River Road, will be having old-fashioned, camp meeting style services celebrating their 50th anniversary Sunday, May 22 at 10:30 a.m. and afternoon service following lunch with founding pastor Donnie Pollard preaching. Services May 23-25 at 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. with lunch daily.

Gray Garden Club

The Garden Club invites you to display your favorite day lilies. June 4, at the W.E. Knox Civic Center, 161 W. Clinton St. Flowers received 8-10 a.m.; Judging 10:30-11:30 a.m.; Open to public 12-4 p.m. The specimen should be owned at least three months, containers are supplied. Specimens should be picked up by 4 p.m. or it will be disposed of.

REGULAR MEETINGS

• Bradley Baptist Church will have Sunday services at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Drive-in services can tune to 89.1 for both services. Sunday school will be at 10:00 a.m.

• The JCHS FFA Alumni Chapter meets the second Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. inside the JCHS lunchroom. Membership is open to anyone, even if they were not a former FFA member.

• Al-Anon meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Jones County Senior Center, 126 Senior Center Way. For information, call 986-7192.

• The Jones County Kiwanis Club meets every Monday in the fellowship hall of Gray Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m.

• Velma McFadden Missionary Food Bank, located at Greater Jordan Chapel Church in Haddock, will be open the first Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The mobile food truck will be open every third Thursday from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. The mobile distribution will be the fourth Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. For emergency food assistance, please call 957-8773.

• New Harvest Church of God, 12689 Highway 87, Juliette, hosts a community prayer service every Monday in the sanctuary at 6:30 p.m.; it does not end until everyone is finished praying. • Greater Faith Revelational Outreach Ministries, 1501 Highway 22 East, Haddock, distributes free nonperishable canned goods every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This food bank ministry is free for those who are in need.
