The spirit of competition and softball continued to be taken advantage of last week with play continuing in the Grayberry Women’s Softball League, which has a season set to go through late July.
Last Tuesday’s action saw the Bad Pitches beat Maximum Effort 12-1 with the Party Animals doubling up the Thirsty Pitches 10-5.
The league resumed play this week with two days of scheduled games before a break the week of July Fourth with games set to return the week after in the season’s final month.
