Jones County native Shareez Hamm wasn’t just part of another conference- title winning 4x100 relay team at Saturday’s Pacific West Conference Championships for the Academy of Art University. He and his relay mates did so in style.
With a time of 40.33 that was nearly more than a second ahead of the secondplace finisher, the Knights also set a facility record. Hamm also finished third in the 400-meter hurdles, his first time under 51 seconds in the event this season.
Registration open for youth football, cheerleading and girls flag football
Registration is now open for Jones County youth football, cheerleading and girls flag football for this fall.
Football is open to ages 5-12, cheerleading is for ages 5-12 and flag football is for ages 7-14. Registration for football and cheerleading is $130 per participant and $100 for flag football.
