After Thursday’s road loss to Woodland caused the Lady Greyhounds to miss out on taking over first place in the region standings by themselves, Jones County had a chance to take out that aggression less than 24 hours later.

With traditional tournament season on the near horizon, the Greyhounds got one final chance to tune-up on Thursday as they coasted past Peach County 41-15 under the home spotlight.Up next? The chase for individual glory, and the road begins at the JCHS gymnasium.

A pair of Connor May goals helped the Macon Mayhem keep pace in the race for the postseason on Friday as they dominated Birmingham in a 4-1 win. The Mayhem dominated the pace offensively, outshooting the Bulls 39-13.
