Wrestlers show mettle at Gauntlet In Gray

Competing at home against teams that gave them ample chances to progress forward, Jones County’s wrestlers continued to raise the bar of expectation at the Gauntlet In Gray.

McIntosh runs wild on a career day in Lexington

No. 1 Georgia turned to running back Kenny McIntosh to carry the load Saturday. The senior had a career game as the Bulldogs defeated Kentucky 16-6 to wrap up SEC play. McIntosh rushed for a careerhigh 143 yards on 19 attempts with Georgina’s only TD in the win.

Shayla Pennington has been part of a great measure of success with the Lady Greyhounds on the softball diamond during her career, being part of three trips to the Elite 8, two region titles and a 2020 state championship.
