Torrez Finney’s professional record in the mixed martial arts (MMA) ranks remains undefeated. He’ll put that unblemished 3-0 record on the line again later this month in a return to the IKON Fighting Championship ranks when he faces Ivan Batinich on Oct. 14.

The Bulldogs competed in a four-quarter clash with Missouri and came out on top with a 26-22 victory. But the Tigers led Georgia until late in the contest.

The distance may have been different than some meets, but the result was similar last Thursday afternoon in Bleckley County in the invitational event held on a two-mile course.

Robertson, Blue Devils 4-1 ahead of Georgia Tech game

Duke’s hot start on the gridiron continued on Saturday with help from Jones County’s Jontavis Robertson. The JCHS product had a catch for three yards as part of an offense that rolled up 38 points in a 38-17 win over Virginia, Duke’s first win against the Cavaliers since 2014.
