Greyhounds romp to win in South Georgia events; Lady Hounds place second

Before last week’s South Georgia Championships in Hazelhurst, a stated goal for the Greyhounds was to pursue the standard of being the top team outside the Atlanta area. Consider that goal captured.

JCHS hosting Greyhound Invitational this weekend

For most meets, JCHS cross country runners get up early on a Saturday morning for a long bus ride to compete. That drive will be a whole lot shorter this weekend when Jones County hosts the Greyhound Invitational on its home course.

Bulldogs to face Golden Flashes after first SEC win

The No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs displayed another dominant performance last Saturday in its SEC opener against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Georgia came out firing on all cylinders from the jump and found themselves up 48-7 at the end of the game.

Lady Hounds take three of four to even record

With the softball season making its way into the second half, the Lady Hounds got on track last week, winning three of four contests, splitting a pair of region games in the process.

Volley Hounds win first-ever region match

It was not without its nailbiting moments, but the Volley Hounds took a historic next step last Tuesday. Hosting a region match for the first time, a 2-1 match victory against Warner Robins sealed the first such win against a region opponent in program history.
