Once the critical part of basketball season arrives, the Greyhounds will look forward to muchneeded help in the post by way of Judd Anderson, who at 6-foot-6 averaged 16 points and 19 rebounds last year at Ridgeland High School.

The official start of the Lady Greyhounds softball season was pushed back by at least one day, with weather on Monday pushing a matchup against Houston County to Tuesday. The postponed contest began a two-game sprint of non-region games with Thursday calling for the home opener against Dodge County.
