James Rackley named STAR Student for 2023

James Rackley is the STAR Student for 2023 at the Jones County High School, and he honored Dames Ferry Elementary School social studies teacher, Rusty Owens, as the STAR Teacher for 2023. Rackley said he’s always lived in Jones County, and a lot of his family lives in the county, too.

Wall of Books offers old and new book selections year-round

Walls of Books in Milledgeville offers a selection of new and used books for the avid reader. Opening in July of 2020, Wall of Books established itself as an affordable bookstore with a vast selection of books and genres.
