The Greyhounds soccer season came to an end Thursday night, and it was arguably in a manner that was a nutshell of Jones County’s season.JCHS dug its heels in against Ola. After falling behind in the first half, the Greyhounds fought to stay within distance of the lead.

The Gym Hounds hosted their final home meet of the season on Saturday and found a way to do so with style.Jones County posted a season-high score of 99.35 to win first, beating McDonough, Washington County and Colquitt County.

Dutchtown series to loom large for postseason hopes
