JROTC competes in National Fitness Challenge Championships

The All-Service National JROTC Fitness Challenge Championships is an all-service event that takes place on the beach behind the Plaza Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach, Fla. This competition started in 2017 with hundreds of JROTC cadets attending.

The Jones County High School Unified Special Olympics will host a Bingo fundraiser at the JCHS cafeteria May 10, 6 p.m.(dinner) and 7 p.m. (Bingo).A spaghetti dinner will be served by Woodmen Life.Dinner includes spaghetti, salad, bread, tea/lemonade, and a dessert for $10 per plate.

GES succeed with Kids Heart Challenge

This year, Gray Elementary School raised $2,149.70 for the American Heart Association through Kids Heart Challenge (KHC).Our top three fundraising students were Aiden Allen, Mallie Morris and Charley Jackson. They each received the rare Buster keychain.
