The Kiwanis Club of Jones County recently donated $750 to the 4-H Club of Jones County. President Joe Briley made the donation on behalf of the club to Elizabeth Rossman, 4H Club Director. Ms. Rossman made an interesting presentation on all of the activities of our local 4-H Club. The Jones County Kiwanis club has been continuously supporting the Jones County community and specifically children since 1935. CONTRIBUTED

Georgia Southwestern State UniversityThe following local students made the Academic Achievement List: Allie Willis of Gray, Benjamin Gordon of Gray, Camryn Caraway of Gray and Ciara Stephens of Macon.
The Pilot Club met Jan. 27 and members brought school supplies for our January project. This year’s supplies went to Wells Elementary School, and Pilot members Beth Coon, Kathryn Jackson, and Fay Mathews made the delivery. The donations were received by Jessica Sills, School Counselor and Gwen Hudson, School Principal. CONTRIBUTED
