Former Hound plays key role as Mercer wraps up spring practice

Mercer wrapped up its first spring practice under new head coach Joel Taylor on April 4 at Five Star Stadium with the defensive side of the ball winning 66-43 as a specialized scoring system was used.

Greyhounds drop first nine-hole match of season

With spring break complete, the Greyhound golfers returned to the course on Monday. Taking on FPD, the Greyhounds suffered their first loss of the season in a nine-hole match, falling to the Vikings, who shot a 138.

Mayhem season ends with first postseason trip since 2021

The Macon Mayhem’s most successful season in five years came to an end over the weekend as Macon was swept by top-seeded Peoria in the best-of-three opening round of the SPHL President’s Cup Playoffs.

Greyhounds wrap up region play

Region play ended for the Greyhounds last week with continued forward progress being shown for a team with only one senior. Jones County’s 3-1 loss to Eagles Landing on Thursday was their second loss by a two-goal margin in three contests, their best showing in that span of matches all season long.
