No. 1 Georgia overcame two double-digit deficits to defeat No. 4 Ohio State 42-41 in the Chickfil- A Peach Bowl on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Bulldogs trailed by 14 points in the second quarter and at the conclusion of the third.

The wait finally ends this weekend for the Greyhound wrestlers. Since the season began, the overall goal has been to improve, get better and fine-tune as a team as individuals to be at an apex when matches matter most. That time begins Saturday at the region duals, hosted by Ola.

Rested Hounds eagerly await return to region play

Since winning the Morris Bank Holiday Classic on Dec. 21, the Greyhounds have had ample time to bask on their tournament win and also rest up. The layoff ends Friday with the heat of region play having its collective wick turned up with the Dutchtown visiting the Greyhounds.

Duke’s 30-13 Military Bowl win last week against UCF was its fourth bowl win in a row, and it came partly due to the play of Jontavis Robertson, part of an offense that generated 350 total yards. Duke’s 9-4 record marks its most wins in a single season since 2014.
